Marriage

Far from being simply about the love between two people, marriage is a beautiful proclamation of the love God has for His Church.  The Bible begins with a marriage in the Garden and ends with the Wedding Feast of the Lamb in Heaven, making it clear how deeply that God cares about human love.

Not only does God care about human love, but He also raises it higher to be a gift to the world, revealing His own unfailing and intimate love. Christ Our Hope wants to equip couples to fully receive the gift that God gives them in their vocation as husband and wife.  To that end, our marriage prep process is a combination of formation in living the faith more deeply together, as well as growing through the mentoring of another couple living the vocation of marriage.

We would ask couples to contact the parish office shortly after their engagement to begin the process of marriage preparation or to seek any further clarification.

Marriage Prep meetings can be scheduled with Fr. Radloff by contacting Christ Our Hope office or by emailing Fr. Radloff at dbq166@dbqarch.org to schedule an appointment.
