Training for Eucharistic Ministers
Are you interested in serving our Cluster as a Eucharistic Minister? Are you already doing so but in need of retraining? If so, please see the details below:
We will be hosting four training sessions for those who are interested or in need of retraining and commissioning as Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion. This must be done (according to Archdiocesan policy) every three years, to ensure proper care for Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament is being observed. Far from being a boring review of policies and procedures, these sessions will be a time for prayer and deepening of Eucharistic devotion!
If we do not have record of training within the last three years we will not be able to include you in the rotation to help at liturgies.
Those who are to be Extraordinary Ministers should fit the following description:

Those who are to be Extraordinary Ministers should fit the following description:
"They shall be of exemplary Christian character, committed to the faith, devoted to the Eucharist, respected by the community and demonstrate interest and involvement in the community's life. They may be as young as high school age, provided they are deemed responsible to carry out the mandate entrusted to them. They must be in good standing according to the law of the Church, spiritually sound and capable of adhering to all of the community's procedures for communion ministers.”
