2012/13 First Reconciliation and
First Holy Communion

GOF Festivals: Please click on the Generations of Faith link for dates of GOF festivals. Students and parents are expected to attend each GOF festival.

1st Reconciliation preparation: Classes are at the LOC building in Lawler in their regular classroom. Classes are on Sundays from 3:00-4:00 PM.
Dates: September 23,30, October 14,21, November 4,11
1st Reconciliation Service is at St. John Nepomucene in Fort Atkinson. December 9, 2012 at 2:00. Please stay for the whole service.

1st Holy Communion Preparation: Classes are at the LOC building in Lawler in their regular classroom. on Sundays from 3:00-4:00 PM
Dates of classes: February 10,17, March 3, 10, 24, April 14

1st Eucharist Retreat: Saturday April 6 9:00-Noon at the LOC building in Lawler. Becky Smith will lead the retreat.
Mass Practice: Following the 1st Eucharist Retreat.

1st Holy Communion Mass: Sunday April 28, 2013 @ 2:00 at St. Luke, St. Lucas. Parents and students please be there by 1:30.

2012 First Holy Communion Mass

On a beautiful spring day beginning at 2:00 in the afternoon the 2nd grade students of the cluster of Christ Our Hope received the precious Body and Blood of Christ for the first time in the Sacrament of First Holy Communion. The twenty-one students celebrated this sacrament at Saint John Nepomucene church in Fort Atkinson at the whole cluster First Holy Communion Mass.  Rosalie Busta, Brock Jenkins, and Kara Reicks are parishioners at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Little Turkey. Jalyssa Blazek, Austin Kuehner, Garrett Kurtenbach, Olivia Maklenburg, Victoria Rosonke, Kourtney Schmidt, and Josie Weber are parishioners at Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Lawler. St. John Nepomucene in Ft. Atkinson parishioners are Brody Hackman, Marcus Herold, Marcus Kriener, Dale Schwamman and Jackson Vsetecka. Tess Franzen, Cambree Kruse, Dylan Reicks, Holly Schmitt, and Rolin Schmitt are parishioners at St. Luke in St. Lucas. Sanja Mihm is a parishioner at St. Mary in Waucoma. Joining us from Holy Family in New Hampton is Emily Uribe-Maldonado. It was a beautiful Mass with Rev. Nicholas March as the main celebrant and Msgr. Donald Heineman and Very. Rev. Marvin Salz as concelebrants. Music was provided by the Christ Our Hope Choral.
